The group has a mix of talks/presentations and visits to places of interest decided by the group.
In the past we have learnt about navigation, moons, aluminium, energy, photographic chemistry, viral diseases and myriad other topics. In addition we have visited various museums, the Triumph and Mini factories, a recycling facility, a historic boatyard, a bell foundry and woolsthorpe (the home of Isaac Newton).
